Myth:Hestia was called the first and last. She was the first born and the first to be swallowed so she was deeper inside Cronus's stomach. After Zeus made Cronus disgorge the gods, Hestia came out last. That is why she is called "Hestia, first and last".

Personal history*: The first mention of Hestia is by Homer in the Hymn to Aphrodite, and he goes on to explain the goddess’ role as goddess of the hearth. When Hestia was born (in the Hymn to Aphrodite, Hestia is called both the eldest and the youngest daughter of Kronos), she was courted by Poseidon and Apollo. The goddess, however, rejected their proposals and vowed to remain a virgin. So Zeus designate her a different role; Hestia was to sit in the middle of the house where she was given the fatty part of the sacrifices offered to the gods so that she could keep the fireplace burning. Because of her integration to the hearth, she was thought to be present in all temples where something was offered to deities. She is the hearth fire where family intimacy is protected and where, once strangers receive “a family's hospitality, they are honour-bound to respect their hosts. A sacred and enduring social bond was forged before the hestia. Men became oikeiotes, members of the same ‘house’”.

History:Ike lived with his mother in Italy. When his mother told him that his dad left her when he was very young, he tried to find out who his dad was. When Blake visited him once during a trip, he encountered Blake. They became friends and soon brothers after Blake told him that his dad was the primordial god of the sea, Pontus. At first Ike didn't believe him, but after Stella encountered him, she convinced him that her twin was right. Soon, Ike became part of the family.
RP Example:I ran down the stairs trying to get ready for school. I put on my clothes and my mask and hurried off to the bus. As soon as I get on, kids were laughing at me again. They were calling me, "Mask boy, face hider," and etc. I almost was about to make this bus turn into water, but I didn't.
